Mark Eitzel on Talk Talk - New Grass:

"From 'Laughing Stock', which is not really a songwriter's album, but it's definitely cool, I love it. It must have taken a lot of guts to make. I mean, to me, this was a healing album, but who was going to buy it? I listened to this song a million times after I got the album - it's a religious song, basically, a desperate plea for something good. By the end, it's almost like he's had a religious revelation - I'm not saying he did, maybe he just would like to have, but that's enough."
