The Deflection Curve

The simple formula found in engineering reference books for the deflection of beams is not applicable, when we are dealing with large deflections.
We have to use the Euler-Bernouilli equation.

M = moment
E = modulus of elasticity
I = moment of inertia

But as the worlds leading rodmakers have agreed that it is not possible to write a program that gives more insight into the secreets of rod design, I will not use more space on the subject.
