In the last part of year 2000 there seems to have been "movement" with regard to former personnel at Thule through the years 1972 - 1976, who have contacted me. It has been a great pleasure to renew these old acquaintences, and since one of the guys has been kind enough to make and maintain a mailing list, it is my pleasure to incorporate it into my list below..

My name is Lloyd Scheeler and I was with the 1983rd Communications Squadron in the communications center in Dec of 1971 thru September of 1972 until the civilians took over our jobs.   I was only 18 at the time and only turned 19 seven months after landing there.  My nick name was "New Kid" given to me by Rick Wunn of Walla Walla Washington.   I remember a James Lanier Dickerson of Elyria Ohio , a Tom Farquar of Ohio and a Danny Smith and a James Hammeric of Eden South Carolina.   Do you have any of these guys on your list.   If you do, please pass my e-mail address on to them.. it would be good to hear from them.   I am from Kimball, Minnesota."
