The Camillian Social Center - Rayong is a charitable institution and part of the St. Camillus Foundation of Thailand. The foundatin is a registered charity in the Kingdom. Our activities for the benefit of people living with HIV/AIDS began in January 1996. We care for people that are poor, abandoned or rejected and for orphans that are living with HIV/AIDS.

The Camilian Social Center provides assistance to 90 people living with HIV/AIDS (35 children and 55 adults). Many of the adults are in the final stage of their lives. We provide comfort and support for their spiritual and psychological needs. Our challenge is to accompany the people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) on this journey, particularly during the last days of their life, to ensure them a "meaningful" quality of life and a "gentle" death.

The Camillian Social Center - Rayong has adopted the following objectives:

• To educate and train the public about HIV/AIDS.
• To develop communication skills for the prevention of HIV/AIDS.
• To provide treatment, care and support to the marginalised people living with HIV/AIDS.
• To help orphans with HIV/AIDS to get medical treatment and education.
• To support other children affected by the AIDS pandemic.
• To provide holistic counseling by building up a network of PLWHA, and
• To cooperate with state agencies in Thailand.
