Twain driver

This is a twain driver for Olympus C2100UZ (and other USB enabled Olympus cameras not using the "storage class" driver).

With this driver you can transfer images to a paint program directly from within the program (provided the program supports twain scanners and cameras). The driver can also delete images from the camera. The driver can not download sound or movies!

Download

Download the twain driver – simply run c2100uz_twain.exe to install.

System requirements

To use the driver you must use Windows 98/ME or Windows 2000/XP.
Olympus "Camedia" must be installed (or see “Camedia requirement” below)
The "Twain 32-bit data source manager" must be installed

Camedia requirement

The Twain driver needs the "olcamapi.dll" included with the Camedia software. If the Camedia software is already installed on your computer, the installation program will try to locate and copy the file to the twain folder. After the file has been copied and you have verified it works, you can remove the Camedia software if you want to. If the installation program is unable to locate the file, you must copy it manually - the installation program will tell you where you must copy it to.

Twain data source manager requirement

The Twain data source manager must be present on your computer in order to have Twain support in your paint program. If you use Windows 98/ME or Windows 2000/XP or later, the Twain data source manager is already installed, as it is a standard part of these Windows version. If for some reason the twain data source manager is not present, you must download it from www.twain.org (in downloads, 32-bit Data Source Manager).

Uninstall

If you want to uninstall the driver, simply delete the DuNo folder in the C:\Windows\twain_32 folder or C:\WINNT\twain_32 folder.
Note: If you've installed Windows to another folder than the default, the Windows folder could be named something different than the folders above.
