My
life on Crete
I have travelled around in the Middle East, and I feel very connected to the different Middle Eastern cultures.Especially on Crete I have had a lot of experiences. In 1992 I started on Crete as a tourist, but very soon I was involved in the local life on Crete. That was the reason why every summer I had to stay on Crete for 3 moonths until the year 2001. I lived a life among the local people in a small town. I got many new friends especially the local people, but also many foreigners living on Crete from arab countries, turks, ex. Jugoslavia and people from England. I organized workshop in Oriental dance, did danceperformances, I did bodymassage treatments and the most important of all - I enjoyed the life on Crete. It was a life without any stress, a life where all your plannings and schedule could change immediately, because the life here and now was the most important thing….. It was a life where you had to be……….My life on Crete, living among the local people, living in another culture and to be deeply connected with mother nature, did develope and inspirate me as a person and my soul. I can recommend to visit Crete. The local people are wonderfull, strong and proud. Even there is a lot of tourists around on Crete and everything is going to be modern like in the western countries on Crete, you can still find places, not far away from the city, where you can find peace and happiness connected with the nature and wonderfull human beeings. e-mail or contact: School for Oriental Dance |

of music, song and dance! The Snake Goddess. She was associated with bees & honey, as well as the tree. The Snake is her Chthonic connection. It implies something that is from the underworld, unknown, unconscious. The Snake has the ability to move from sthe underworld to the upperworld. |
