Born in Johannesburg in 1904. Sculptor and painter, briefly involved
in the Cobra movement through his wife Sonja Ferlov, whom he met during
a stay in Paris in 1938. He was invited to exhibit at the Cobra exhibition
in Amsterdam in 1949, but did not participated.
